The problem im having is im not being able to play certain games like Unreal 2003, Morrowind and others. Other games like MOH Spearhead work fine. Unreal and Morrowind have both worked perfectly fine on this system.
Specs: Windows Xp Pro with SP1 Gainward Geforce 4 ti 4200 with 40.72 drivers Gigabyte GA-7VAX KT400 Athlon XP 1700
I ran dxdiag and tested Direct3D and it gives me the error: Direct3D test results: Failure at step 8 (Creating 3D Device): HRESULT = 0x887602eb (error code).
I ran a google search and found other people with the same problem. The fix seems to be disabling or uninstalling Netmeeting. But it doesnt tell how to do this under Xp. How do I disable or uninstall Netmeeting?
Any fix would help:D Thanx for your time.

Netmeeting is not a standard part of WindowsXP. If you have it installed then removing it would involve going to the control panel and looking at add-remove software to remove it. If you do not have it present the error could be caused by a windows library out of date or wrong version. This could possibly be fixed by installing the latest version of Netmeeting from Microsoft's website.
DirectX problems, however, are most often caused by chipset/driver issues. Installing the latest version of your chipset drivers and the latest DirectX may fix the problem for you.
Hope this helps.
